Tied Down South is a small regional conference located in the Sandhills of North Carolina and co-organized by Alt Rope and Tethered Men. Over Labor Day Weekend, 2026 (September 5-6th), this rope-focused event caters to intermediate rope folks through a combination of partner tying, self-tie, and outdoor tying classes for both ground and suspension rope.
The goal of Tied Down South is to connect rope communities and create opportunities for education both formally through classes and informally through skill sharing, jams, and play.

The private, sex-positive venue is owned by local kinksters and includes a hybrid of indoor, woods, and open-space tying in a rural area. Camping and parking are provided on site. Your ticket gets you five class slots, the evening play party, overnight camping, and 3 meals. Event photographers on staff capture rope joy, instructors teaching, and play and jams.
